Description

Run a reception's quality control inspections directly from the Barcode app.

When a reception (incoming picking) generates quality inspections through quality_control_stock_oca (from the operation type and product quality triggers), this module surfaces them as a Quality tab inside the reception screen. The operator answers each check — picking a value for qualitative checks, entering a measure for quantitative ones — and confirms; when an inspection does not pass, a photo can be attached to it as evidence.

This is a feature module on top of barcode_stock: it adds the Quality tab by extending the reception screen, without modifying barcode_stock itself.

New fields (1)
  • barcode_scanner_confirmed Boolean
    copy=False help='Confirmed from the Barcode app: the operator may put it back to draft from there while no supervisor has decided it and the reception is still open.' readonly=True string='Confirmed from the scanner'
Public methods (3)
  • action_barcode_scanner_attach_photo(self, inspection_id, filename, datas)
    @api.model
    Attach a photo as evidence to an inspection. ``datas`` is the base64-encoded image content coming from the scanner. The attachment is linked to the inspection so it shows in its chatter. Only an image is taken: this is evidence for a check, not any file.
  • action_barcode_scanner_reset(self, inspection_id)
    @api.model
    Put back to draft an inspection the operator confirmed from the scanner, to correct it (see ``_barcode_scanner_can_reset``). Its answers are kept, and the scanner shows them filled in: the operator changes what was wrong and confirms again. Draft, then mark todo in one step: a draft inspection is not runnable from the scanner, so it is left ``ready``.
  • action_barcode_scanner_submit(self, inspection_id, answers)
    @api.model
    Record the operator's answers and confirm the inspection. ``answers`` is a list of ``{line_id, qualitative_value_id}`` for qualitative questions and ``{line_id, quantitative_value}`` for quantitative ones, one per question. Returns the resulting inspection.

Public methods (1)
  • action_barcode_scanner_quality_inspections(self, picking_id)
    @api.model
    Return the quality inspections generated for a reception, so the scanner can run them from a Quality tab during the reception. Every inspection but the canceled ones is returned, each with its questions and pass/fail state; the scanner shows the planned and draft ones as pending, since they cannot be answered yet.
